To maximize appeal and value, it’s essential to ensure a property is in top condition before listing. This detailed checklist is organized by subject area for easy reference.

EXTERIOR UPDATES & REPAIRS

Curb Appeal & Landscaping:

  • Mow, edge, and fertilize the lawn

  • Trim overgrown shrubs and trees

  • Remove dead plants and add fresh mulch

  • Weed flower beds and plant seasonal flowers for color

  • Clean and repair flower bed borders

  • Remove any clutter (toys, tools, old planters)

  • Power wash driveways, sidewalks, and patios

Roof & Gutters:

  • Inspect roof for missing, damaged, or curled shingles

  • Replace any loose or missing roof tiles

  • Check for leaks and seal around vents or flashing

  • Clean out gutters and downspouts

  • Ensure downspouts direct water away from the foundation

Exterior Paint & Siding:

  • Pressure wash siding, brick, and stucco

  • Touch up or repaint trim, shutters, and doors

PLUMBING & HVAC SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
